Police Check Request

Many of our members require their employees to carry out a national Police Check when they commence employment or to renew their check periodically throughout their employment to assist with meeting their compliance requirements.

To assist our members with this, On Demand HR has partnered with a 3rd party provider (Cited) to carry out the formal police checks on behalf of our clients where we manage the process including following up the employee on your behalf.

This can be requested as part of our contract and onboarding process for new employees or on an ad hoc basis as required by completing the request form below.  The process looks like this:

  • Following receiving the request, On Demand HR will email the employee through Cited to provide the required documentation to carry out the National Police Check
  • Once the employee has provided the required documentation, On Demand HR will incur the cost of carrying out the police check (Approx $55) which will be passed on to our members in the next invoice
  • Once the police check is completed, we will email a copy of the completed check to you for you records.

In terms of follow ups we will email, SMS and call the employee over time to escalate the urgency.  However please note that due to privacy, outside of promoting the employee we are unable to proactively assist them with their applications and instead, will direct them to contact Cited support line directly.  If we do not get a response from the employee after several follow-ups, we will direct them back to you to speak with them directly.
