Deed Of Release Request

In circumstances where an employee is leaving the business,  employee is leaving the business and for any reason, you are offering to pay above the required entitlements, we typically recommend that you request the employee sign a deed of release in return for the additional payments.

The Deed will typically prevent the employee from disparaging the business and making most future claims against the business (you cannot prevent worker’s compensation or superannuation claims as part of a deed).

Typically an On Demand HR consultant will advise you if a situation requires a deed of release.  When this occurs, as it is a legal document, we typically need to clarify a number of key details with you prior to drafting the deed for your approval.  The form below was designed to simplify and streamline the process for collecting the information.
