On Demand HR Members Portal

The On Demand HR members site has been designed to enable you to quickly and easily access support for your day-to-day HR & Workplace Relations Matters and to make the most of your membership.

For those that are line managers, who we have not yet met and are a little unsure of the types of matters On Demand HR can assist with, we have put together a short video to introduce our business and Essential Support membership.

There are a number of key ways in which you can access support outlined below. We are happy to work with you as to the best way to access support.

Please see below a list of the common support requests we get from our members. To help us to assist you as quickly as possible, we have created custom request forms for these and we will continue to add to them over time. Of course, should the type of support not appear on the list below, you can always make a general request by using the button below:

Employee Management

Request on online performance appraisal with employee self-feedback and manager comments on key performance indicators.  All parties receive a signed copy of the form. This is perfect for use during a performance review meeting.

Are you about to embark on a performance management or conduct process?  We can assist you with letter drafting, meeting plans and more to ensure you maintain compliance.

Are you about to embark on a redundancy/ restructure process?  We can assist you with advice and guidance to carry out a compliant process whilst still meeting your business objectives.

Employee Onboarding

Request On Demand HR to produce a contract for a new full time , part time,  or casual employee.  You can even have ODHR to send the contract along with other relevant documents such as policy & procedure manuals for digital acceptance and signing.

Use this to easily collect key employment details from your employees including bank account and super details for entry into your payroll and other systems.  Use this if you do not require On Demand HR to produce the employment contract and ONLY send onboarding.

If you have an employee that works remotely all or some of the time such as working from home, this will send through a remote working checklist for them to complete along with uploading a photo of their workstation for your records.

Many of our members include a health checklist as part of their onboarding process.  However, sometimes we understand that some members might need to request an employee to complete a health checklist themselves.

The pre-employment check will ask questions that you might have forgotten to ask during the recruitment process. We recommend implementing this at the stage of requesting references.

Day to Day HR & Workplace Relations

Regardless whether it is on a temporary or a permanent basis, varying the days or hours of part-time employees requires mutual agreement between the employee and their employer.

It is best practice to provide written confirmation of increases to an employees wage or salary.  On Demand HR can assist you with creating these letters as part of your membership.

Give your employees the ability to lodge workplace complaints/grievances to an external party so that they can be managed before they escalate.

Recruitment & Retention

Other

If an employee is leaving your business or being terminated and you have agreed to pay more than their minimum entitlements, we typically recommend that you put together a deed of release.  This document helps protect the business against any future employment-related claims in exchange for the additional payment.
