Move on now to that redundancy, a final redundancy risk. And again, we sort of touched on this that you may have a risk for an unfair dismissal. If there was no consultation. If you replace the position shortly after redundancy, again, not genuine, that the position was advertised shortly after the redundancy or even worse during the redundancy.
I’ve seen, you know, people that haven’t consulted with this stuff this stuff before, that it was unfair to select the person when compared to other employees who were retained. That goes back to what we spoke about with selection criteria. And that the business had an alternative to redundancy, but never discussed that with the employee. So those are the types of risks that you may encounter in a redundancy process. Those are the types of areas where we see people stuff up in terms of claims that can come before the commission.
